Job Description – Senior PHP Developer at Your Tech Club

As a Senior PHP Developer, you will be the technical backbone of our custom applications. You will be responsible for developing scalable backend solutions and collaborating with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX and DevOps, to ensure seamless integration and performance. Your expertise will be key to every project, from designing architecture to optimizing existing systems and troubleshooting complex issues.

Key Responsibilities – What Will You Do?

  1. Backend Development:

    • Build secure and high-performance applications using PHP frameworks such as Laravel and Symfony.

  2. Database Optimization:

    • Optimize database performance to ensure fast, reliable operations.

  3. API Integration:

    • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to connect with external services and applications.

  4. Collaboration:

    • Work closely with frontend developers to ensure a seamless user experience.

  5. roblem Solving:

    • Troubleshoot complex backend issues and implement effective solutions.

  6. New Feature Development:

    • Actively contribute to the design and implementation of new features and enhancements.

Required Skills and Experience – What Do You Bring?

  • 5+ years of PHP development experience using Laravel, Symfony, or other modern frameworks.

  • Proven experience in developing secure, scalable applications.

  • Expertise in MySQL or PostgreSQL database management.

  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.

  • Experience integrating APIs and third-party services.

  • A passion for solving complex backend challenges.

  • Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus).
