Job Description – What Does a Compliance Manager at Your Tech Club Do?

As a Compliance Manager ISO Certification, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our ISO compliance processes. You will coordinate audits, monitor compliance, and ensure that our policies and procedures meet the highest standards in information security, quality management, and sustainability.

Working closely with various departments, you will play a key role in embedding compliance as a strategic priority within our organization. Your efforts will support continuous improvement, strengthen our reputation, and help us maintain our commitment to excellence in everything we do.

Your Key Responsibilities – What Will You Do as a Compliance Manager?

1. Manage ISO Certification Processes:

   • Lead and coordinate all activities required to achieve and maintain ISO certifications such as ISO 27001, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 20000, and ISO 50001.

2. Develop Compliance Policies and Procedures:

   • Ensure that our compliance policies are up-to-date and in line with the latest ISO standards.

3. Conduct Internal and External Audits:

   • Prepare, execute, and lead audits, acting as the primary point of contact for auditors.

4. Monitor Compliance Across the Organization:

   • Perform regular internal checks and risk assessments to ensure that all certification requirements are met.

5. Training and Awareness:

   • Develop and conduct training sessions for employees on ISO standards and best practices.

6. Lead Process Improvement Projects:

   • Identify opportunities for improving compliance processes and take the lead in projects aimed at enhancing our compliance systems and sustainability performance.

Required Skills and Experience – What Makes a Successful Compliance Manager?

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, IT, Environmental Science, or Quality Management.

• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record in achieving and maintaining ISO certifications.

• In-depth knowledge of ISO standards such as ISO 27001 (Information Security), ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), ISO 20000 (IT Service Management) and ISO 50001 (Energy Management).

• Strong project management skills with a structured and detail-oriented approach.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong communication skills in English, with Dutch being an advantage.

• A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently and take ownership of compliance initiatives.
