Web development that starts with what your visitor came to do
From the first design to final delivery, our skills produce web solutions that are seamless, innovative and effective.
What is web development?
Web development is designing and building websites and web applications that run in the browser: from the visible interface (front end) to the server, database and business logic behind it (back end). The field also covers API integrations, cloud infrastructure and integration with existing business systems. Your Tech Club delivers custom web development with React, Next.js, Node.js and Laravel, from Amsterdam and certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 27001.
Built for clients including Tata Steel, M&G Investments, Digistore24, Toppers in Concert, Bar-le-Duc and Loogman
Before companies come to us for web development, they've usually run into one of these bottlenecks.

Every change takes longer than it should
The site or web app was built a few years ago on choices that made sense then but now hold you back: an outdated CMS, hand-maintained styling, no clear component structure. A small change means digging through code nobody fully understands any more.

Website and business systems don't talk to each other
CRM, stock, invoicing and the website were each built separately, with no API layer in between. The integrations that do exist are workarounds added later that break again with the next update.

The hosting isn't built for growth or peak load
During a campaign, a product launch or simply more visitors, the site slows down or goes offline. The infrastructure was once set up for a smaller scale and never grew with the rest of the business.
A website, an online store, or actually a platform?
Web development is a catch-all term, and that's exactly where the risk lies: three very different jobs that look the same from the outside. The dividing line is what your visitor comes to do. Looking something up is a website. Buying something is an online store. Getting work done behind a login is a platform.
That distinction decides almost everything that follows: which technology fits, what it costs, how long it takes and what it's judged on. A website is judged on findability and conversion, a platform on whether people get their work done in it. That calls for different choices from the first week.
- Looking up is a website, buying is an online store, working is a platform
- The distinction sets technology, price and timeline
- Not sure which? That's the first question we answer
Why we don't turn up with a single stack
An agency that builds everything in the same technology is choosing its own efficiency, not your problem. So we work with several stacks: Next.js where findability and interaction meet, Laravel where there's a lot of business logic, Strapi where the same content has to reach several channels, Shopify where selling is the goal.
The choice should follow from two questions. What does the thing need to do, and who will maintain it three years from now? That second question is almost always skipped, while it's where most of the cost lies.
- Technology follows the question, not our preference
- Who maintains it in three years counts just as much
- Widely supported stacks over what's interesting right now
For us, delivered means transferable
The most common problem at companies that come to us isn't that their site is ugly. It's that nobody dares touch it any more, because whoever built it has gone and nothing was written down.
So alongside working code, we deliver the documentation, the maintenance instructions and the reasoning behind the choices we made along the way. Code and environment sit in your own repository, on your own infrastructure.
- Code and documentation in your own repository
- Maintenance instructions and reasoning at handover
- ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certified, hosting within the EU
A website or web application touches several layers at once: the interface, the server, the database and the systems around it. This is where we make the difference.
One partner for the whole picture
Whether it's a marketing site, a customer portal, a CRM integration or a combination of all three, we don't need to bring in a second agency. That stops separate parts of your digital presence being built by different parties and no longer fitting together.
Technology chosen per project, not per offering
We have no fixed platform every project has to go through. Depending on your situation, we choose React or Next.js for the front end, Laravel, Node.js or Strapi for the back end, and the hosting environment that fits. We make that choice based on what the project still needs to do in a few years, not on what happens to be ready to hand.
Code, design and accounts are yours
We build in your own Git repository and on your own cloud accounts, not in a Your Tech Club environment. At handover, all code, designs and documentation are your property, so you're never tied to us for maintenance or further development. Under ISO 27001 we also record who has access to which systems and data.
A front end that works everywhere
Responsive interfaces in React or Next.js, tested on different devices and browsers before they go live.
An architecture that's documented
Front-end, back-end and database choices are documented in an Architecture Decision Record, not just in someone's head.
Quality you can check
Code reviews, staging environments and documented tests are part of every sprint, not just the last week.

We believe success is in the details. See our step-by-step approach that takes your project from idea to launch, with your vision as the guide throughout.
- 01
Intake & scope
We map your goals, users and existing systems: which front end, which data sources, which integrations are already in place. That leads to well-founded advice on approach, planning and investment, with a clear picture of what the front end, back end and integrations will cost.
- 02
Architecture & technical design
Before a line of code is written, we choose the stack: front-end framework, back-end language, database, hosting and API structure. We record these choices in an Architecture Decision Record, so a year from now it's still clear why the system is built the way it is.
- 03
UX/UI design
We develop wireframes into clickable prototypes and a design system that fits your brand. That way you test the layout of pages, flows and interactions before the build starts, and avoid costly changes later.
- 04
Development in sprints
Front end and back end are built in parallel in two-week sprints. Every sprint ends with a release on a staging environment you can review yourself, with code reviews as a fixed part of every step.
- 05
System integration, cloud & QA
We connect the platform to the systems you already use: CRM, payment providers, Microsoft 365 or your own APIs, and set up the cloud infrastructure on AWS, DigitalOcean or Vercel. Functional tests, performance checks and a security review under ISO 27001 close this phase.
- 06
Launch & ongoing development
We guide the launch step by step and closely follow performance and errors for the first period afterwards. Then the choice is yours: handover to your own team, or ongoing development and management with us under an SLA.
A new website or web app isn't finished at launch
- MonitoringWe monitor uptime, load times and errors across the front end, back end and cloud environment.
- EvaluationWe check performance against the agreed goals and gather feedback from your users.
- SecurityWe patch dependencies and the server environment, check access rights and make backups.
- ExtensionWe build new pages, features and integrations once they demonstrably add value.
- OptimisationWe improve load times, database queries and cloud costs based on real usage data.

A website that shows the right information per location, not one template for all.
Technology that takes over the admin
For Loogman we connected job vacancies directly to Raet, calculated opening hours per location and department automatically, and sent orders straight to the kitchen printer.
In their own words
“Your Tech Club is both skilled and creative. They consistently came up with innovative solutions to technical challenges.” Neal Teuben, Loyalty & Communications Manager at Loogman.
Do I need a website or a web application?
That depends on what visitors need to be able to do. If they mainly need to read information and decide to get in touch, a website is the right form. If they need to log in, enter data or carry out something that produces a result, you need a web application. Many of our clients end up with both: a website that persuades and an application that does something, designed to work together.
Which technologies does Your Tech Club use for web development?
For the front end we mainly work with React, Next.js and TypeScript, and for the back end with Node.js, Laravel or Strapi as a headless CMS. We arrange hosting through DigitalOcean, AWS or Vercel, depending on the scale and budget of your project. We document and justify every technology choice, so the platform still fits what you need a few years from now.
Can Your Tech Club connect my existing systems to a new website or web app?
Yes. We build integrations with CRM systems, accounting software, payment providers and internal databases through APIs, so you're not left with double data entry or separate spreadsheets. Before we build an integration, we first map which systems need to exchange data and in which direction. That prevents an integration from having to be reworked afterwards.
How much does a custom website or web application from Your Tech Club cost?
That depends on the scope, the number of integrations and how much custom design is involved. A focused first version is a different project from a platform with multiple integrations. After an intake, you receive a well-founded estimate within a week.
How long does it take to develop a website or web app?
We usually deliver a first working version within 8 to 12 weeks, while a more extensive platform with multiple integrations takes 4 to 9 months. We work in two-week sprints, so you can follow along and adjust before too much is fixed.
Do the code and management of my website or web app stay with me as the client?
Yes. We build in your own Git repository and on your own cloud and hosting accounts, so all code, designs and documentation are your property at handover. After launch you're free to bring in another team for maintenance, although the vast majority of our clients choose to stay with us for support and further development.
What happens after launch? Do you stay involved?
Yes. After handover you can choose a maintenance agreement with fixed response times, proactive updates and regular discussions about new features. That can sit separately alongside ongoing development in sprints, so your platform keeps growing with your organisation instead of standing still after launch.
