Websites and online stores that help people move forward
Websites, online stores and customer environments that work for the visitor and for the organisation behind them. Accessible, fast and managed by your own editors.
Torn between two options? We'll work that out for you in the first conversation.

Management
Your editors publish a page themselves, without us
The complaint about a custom site is rarely that it looks bad. It's that every change has to go through a developer: a landing page takes two weeks, so it doesn't happen. We deliver a set of blocks your editors use to build pages themselves, while typography, colour and rhythm stay fixed.
Speed and accessibility aren't a layer you add at the end. They come from decisions in the first week: how you build your pages, what you send along, which fonts you load. Fixing that afterwards means, in practice, rebuilding.

How it works
From first conversation to live
Four steps. Design, build and testing run in the same rhythm, so you see working screens every two weeks.
Who the site needs to serve, what you sell and which systems it talks to. That gives us the scope, with a price.
02
Design (2 to 3 weeks)
Design in Figma with the blocks your editors will work with later. Accessibility and speed are already part of the decisions here.
03
Build and test
Two-week sprints you can follow along with. Every delivery goes through code review and a round of testing on devices, speed and accessibility.
04
Go-live and handover
Measurement, redirects and a handover where your team learns to work with the blocks. Source code and environments are in your name.
It doesn't stop at go-live
Further developmentNew pages, campaigns and features at a steady pace, without needing a new project for it.
Monitoring speed and accessibilityAfter every release we measure whether the scores hold up, instead of assuming they do.
Improving conversionWe look at where visitors drop off and fix what's getting in the way.

Who you'll talk to
You talk to the founders
No account manager. Your first conversation is with someone who does the work, often with one of the founders. After that you work with a dedicated team from our office in Amsterdam.
A configurator that calculates the quote itself instead of passing it on.
A configurator with real logic
Customers put together their charging point and the application calculates the quote immediately, instead of someone at the office having to pick it up.
Connected directly to day-to-day work
Every request reaches the sales team automatically through the CRM integration, with the full configuration attached.

Having a website or online store built: what to look for
Four choices that decide whether your site still works two years from now.
1
A custom website or a theme?
A theme is quick and cheap as long as you stay within what it can do. As soon as your brand, your content or your integrations go beyond that, you'll be fighting it.
We build a custom website from fixed blocks in your brand style. Your editors use them to put pages together themselves, without the design falling apart.
2
Shopify, headless or a custom online store?
If your sales process fits what Shopify does out of the box, we recommend Shopify: faster to launch and cheaper to run. Go headless if you want complete freedom on the front end and a standard back end. Fully custom pays off with a configurator, tiered pricing per customer or stock that comes from your ERP.
3
What makes a website fast and findable?
Speed and findability come from decisions made in the first week, not from a plugin added afterwards.
Lightweight pages and correctly sized images
A logical heading structure and structured data
Core Web Vitals measured at handover
Accessible to WCAG 2.1 AA

How does your website stay good after go-live?
A website is never finished. After go-live we measure where visitors drop off, build new pages and features at a steady pace, and check after every release that speed and accessibility hold up.
Frequently asked questions
Questions about digital experiences and commerce
What's the difference between a website and a platform?
The user. A website or online store serves a visitor who wants to find out or buy something, and is judged on findability, speed and conversion. A platform serves someone who logs in to get work done. If you're not sure which your question falls under, that's the first thing we work out together.
Do you build on Shopify or custom?
Both, and the choice depends on how specific your process is. If your sales process fits within Shopify, it goes live faster and costs less to run. If you have integrations with stock, ERP or a configurator that don't fit, we build headless or custom. We recommend the platform that fits, even if it's the cheaper option.
What does a custom website cost?
The price is driven by the number of unique templates, the integrations and how much your editors need to be able to put together themselves. We agree that up front, so the price is tied to a clearly defined result. After the first conversation you'll know where you stand.
Can our editors create pages themselves?
Yes, and that's usually the whole point. We build a set of components your editors use to put pages together themselves without the design falling apart. We agree up front what's fixed and what's flexible.
Can our team edit the website through Claude or ChatGPT?
Yes. With the website we deliver a dedicated MCP server: an integration that lets Claude or ChatGPT work in your CMS. Your team asks in plain language for a new page or an updated text, and the assistant builds it from the building blocks of your own design system. Changes are saved as drafts first, with a preview, and only go live when someone presses publish.
What about accessibility and speed?
We build in WCAG 2.1 AA from the information architecture onwards, so contrast, heading structure, keyboard navigation and text alternatives are design decisions, not repair work. We measure speed using Core Web Vitals, and those scores are part of the handover.
How long does it take to build a website?
After a week of discovery and two to three weeks of design, we build in two-week sprints you can follow along with. How long the build takes depends on the number of templates and integrations; we agree that up front.
Can you take over our existing website or online store?
Yes. We start by understanding what's there and what's getting in the way, before we replace anything. Often it's smarter to develop what you have than to rebuild, and if so, we'll tell you.
What does it cost to build an online store?
That mainly depends on the platform and the integrations with stock, ERP and accounting. Shopify is faster and cheaper than custom. We give you a fixed price per phase up front, so you know where you stand.
