GIJBA arranges financial lease for business owners. Choosing a company car is fun; the financing process around it is not. Your Tech Club designed and built the platform where the two come together: the car stock and the financing, in one route to a quote.

What was the challenge?

GIJBA's audience is varied: start-ups, freelancers and SMEs, business owners without extensive annual accounts, visitors who know exactly which car they want and visitors who first want to understand what is possible.

So the platform had to do several things at once: make the proposition clear, present a large stock in a clear way, explain financial lease in plain terms, lower the barrier to applying, and connect to the systems and data sources behind it.

From website to conversion platform

We looked at the whole route from visitor to lead, not at individual pages. The question throughout the design was: what information does a business owner need at this moment to take the next step?

That led to a clear route: get oriented, build trust, explore the stock, compare vehicles, understand the lease terms and request a quote. Every page got a job within that one route.

Flow first, then screens

Before working out the interface, we mapped the main user flows. The main flow became: homepage, stock, filters, vehicle detail, quote request and personal contact. We also designed routes for visitors who want more reassurance first: customer reviews, an explanation of financial lease, terms and conditions, frequently asked questions and direct contact by phone or WhatsApp.

Showing the stock without information overload

A car website quickly turns into a database full of specifications. Here, vehicle photography takes centre stage, while the relevant information stays at hand: make and model, monthly amount, purchase price, mileage, year, power, fuel type and transmission. Filters take visitors from a broad range to the cars that suit them.

From vehicle to financial decision

On a typical used-car site, everything revolves around the car. At GIJBA, visitors also need to understand what the vehicle means financially. So the vehicle detail page combines three layers: the car, with photos, specifications and options; the financing, with monthly amount and purchase price; and the next step, requesting a quote or getting in touch.

That way, users do not have to switch between websites or calculators.

Trust in the interface

With financial lease, trust has to be felt throughout the route. So customer reviews do not sit on a single review page but appear at several points in the platform. Plenty of white space, a clear hierarchy and GIJBA's recognisable green and orange all help.

Less form, more conversation

Many financial websites ask visitors for a lot of information straight away. Here the first step is deliberately lighter: the quote request asks for a company name or KvK number (Dutch Chamber of Commerce), an email address and a phone number. Then the personal conversation begins.

The form does not replace the adviser. It helps the right adviser and the right business owner get in touch sooner.

A scalable design system

A platform with marketing pages, vehicles, forms and reviews needs more than a set of good-looking screens. We captured colours, typography, spacing, buttons, forms, cards, navigation, interaction patterns and responsive behaviour in a reusable design system.

Design and engineering connected from the start

The technical requirements were part of the design from day one: vehicle data, KvK data, LFH integrations, CMS fields, form logic, validation, analytics and lead tracking. By not treating UX, development and integrations as separate phases, the complexity stays behind the scenes.

Mobile where it counts

Navigation, vehicle cards, reviews, forms and calls to action were designed specifically for mobile instead of scaled down from desktop. Key actions stay within reach: view the stock, request a quote, ask a question, get in touch.

SEO and migration

When you redesign an existing website, search visibility matters as much as design. Existing pages, URL structures and organic rankings were taken into account in the migration. The new foundation supports a clear page hierarchy, indexable vehicle and content pages, internal links, logical URL structures, redirects, technical performance and metadata.

What can GIJBA do now?

Business owners find out in one place what is possible, browse the stock, compare vehicles, read the lease information and request a quote. For GIJBA, it is a foundation for marketing, vehicle stock, SEO and conversion optimisation, with analytics and lead tracking to see where visitors drop off.

Frequently asked questions

Who built GIJBA's website?

Your Tech Club designed and developed GIJBA's financial lease platform. The work covered digital strategy, information architecture, UX/UI design, wireflows, a reusable design system, front-end development, API integrations, SEO and analytics.

What did Your Tech Club build for GIJBA?

A platform where business owners browse, filter and compare the car stock, see the financing for each vehicle and request a quote. Underneath are integrations with vehicle data, KvK data and LFH, plus analytics and lead tracking.

What technology does GIJBA's website run on?

A responsive custom platform with CMS-driven content and API integrations for vehicle data, KvK data and LFH. The front end is built on a reusable design system.

What makes a financial lease website different from a regular car website?

With financial lease, visitors need to assess not only the vehicle but also what it means financially. So the vehicle detail page combines the car, the financing and the next step towards a quote, and users do not have to switch between websites or calculators.

How is the quote request set up?

Deliberately light. The first step only asks for a company name or KvK number, an email address and a phone number. Then the personal conversation with an adviser begins. The form does not replace that conversation; it brings the right adviser and the right business owner together.

Is search visibility kept during a redesign?

This migration took existing pages, URL structures and organic rankings into account. The new foundation supports a clear page hierarchy, indexable vehicle and content pages, internal links, redirects and metadata.
