Profile
How much leave do I have left, how does parental leave work, where is my payslip, what is the policy on working from home.
These are questions with fixed answers, yet they keep landing with the same person in HR.
The HR Helpdesk answers from your policies, with the source, and passes on anything personal or anything that needs an exception.
What it does, step by step
- Receive the questionIn Teams, by email or through the intranet.
- Find the sourceIn the employee handbook, the collective labour agreement or the relevant policy.
- Answer with the sourceThe answer plus where to find it, so anyone can check.
- Protect personal dataQuestions about someone's own file only go ahead after verification, or go straight to HR.
- Pass on what needs a personAnything involving an exception, a conflict or a personal situation.
Onboarded into your business
Erik does not start from a generic script. Like any new colleague, Erik is onboarded into the way your team works first.
- Your knowledgeWe onboard Erik with your own documents, examples and agreements, so the work is done the way your team does it.
- Your systemsWe set up the integrations for the software you already use. Different fields or different steps? We adapt to them.
- Your rulesYou decide what Erik handles on its own and what always goes to a person first.
- Grows with youWhen your way of working, a system or a rule changes, we adjust Erik to match.

What runs automatically and what does not
You stay in control.
Not every decision should be made automatically. For each workflow, we set out:
- What can happen automatically.
- What is put forward for approval first.
- When a person is brought in.
- What information is stored.
- How actions are logged.
Is this a fit for your organisation?
A good fit if
- Organisations with more than a hundred employees.
- Businesses with a collective labour agreement (CAO) or extensive policies.
- Situations where HR spends a lot of time on the same questions.
Less of a fit if
- Conversations about performance, sickness absence or conflicts.
- Organisations where policies are not properly written down anywhere.
What it can deliver
- An answer when the question comes up, including outside office hours.
- Fewer interruptions for HR over standard questions.
- Answers that point to the source instead of to someone's memory.
Directions, not promises. As soon as there is evidence from a client project, it will appear here as a substantiated result.
Frequently asked questions
Can an AI employee answer questions about someone's own personnel file?
Only after verifying who is asking, and only for data people may see about themselves anyway, such as their leave balance. Anything beyond that goes to HR. Disclosing personnel data to the wrong person is a data breach, so we are deliberately strict here.
Can it answer based on our collective labour agreement?
Yes, as long as the agreement is available as a source. What we settle upfront is who keeps it up to date when a new agreement period starts, because an answer from an expired agreement is worse than no answer.
What if someone asks about sickness absence or a conflict?
It hands over to a person without answering on substance. That is a hard rule in the setup, not a judgement made case by case.
Does this work inside Teams?
Yes, and that is usually the best place: people ask where they already work, instead of on a portal they have to go looking for.
