From scattered project information to one readable overview, without losing Monday morning to it.

Project status lives in tickets, calendars, documents and conversations. Pulling it together is manual work that comes back every week.

The Project Status Assistant collects it and prepares a draft for a person to finish.

What it does, step by step

  1. Read the sourcesFetch tickets, sprints, deadlines and recent changes.
  2. Determine progressCompare against the plan and previous reports.
  3. Flag blockersMark open dependencies and risks.
  4. Draft the reportPrepare a draft per project or per portfolio.
  5. DistributeOnce approved, share it with the teams involved or the client.

What runs automatically and what does not

You stay in control.

Not every decision should be made automatically. For each workflow, we set out:

  • What can happen automatically.
  • What is put forward for approval first.
  • When a person is brought in.
  • What information is stored.
  • How actions are logged.

Is this a fit for your organisation?

A good fit if

  • Project information is spread across several systems.
  • Reporting comes round at a fixed interval.
  • The report format is largely fixed.
  • Teams work consistently in the same tools.

Less of a fit if

  • Only a few projects run at the same time.
  • Every report needs its own in-depth analysis.
  • Tools are hardly kept up to date, so the source is not reliable.
  • The report format changes every time.

What it can deliver

  • Less time spent collecting
  • A more consistent report format
  • Blockers visible sooner
  • More time for steering instead of admin

Directions, not promises. As soon as there is evidence from a client project, it will appear here as a substantiated result.

Frequently asked questions

Where does the assistant get the project status from?

From the systems where the work already lives: your project tool, time tracking, the planning and the mailbox. It only asks about what is not in there.

Does this replace the stand-up or the project meeting?

No. It removes the collecting, so the meeting can be about decisions rather than catching up on where things stand.

Can it chase people itself when something is left lying?

It can, but that is a choice you make deliberately. We set out who gets a reminder, how often, and when it goes to a project manager instead of the person doing the work.

Does this work with Jira, Asana or Monday?

Yes, and with combinations of them. Many organisations have more than one, and that is exactly when collecting the status is the work that gets left undone.

What does this deliver if the schedule slips anyway?

Earlier sight of the slippage. The assistant does not fix the delay, but it makes sure you see it while there is still time to do something about it.

How to put this to work

  1. 1A short callTogether we look at your process and your systems, and whether this task is the best place to start.
  2. 2Set up on your rulesIntegrations with your own systems, and agreeing what may run automatically and what a person approves.
  3. 3Measure and adjustFirst alongside your team, only then on its own. We look at what it delivers and adjust.
