Laadpunt Nederland supplies and installs EV chargers. That calls for a website that doesn't just show the range, but guides visitors through a decision process and sends every enquiry to the CRM. Your Tech Club designed and built that platform, together with a specialist marketing agency.
What was the challenge?
Buying an EV charger isn't an impulse purchase. Customers need to know which charger suits their car, whether they'll charge at home or at work, and what installation involves. That decision process happened over phone calls and email threads, which is slow and hard to measure.

On top of that, marketing campaigns needed to be steered by data. Without visibility of the path from visitor to enquiry, every euro spent on a campaign is a gamble.
How does a customer configure their charging point?
With a custom-built configurator, developed as a bespoke WordPress plugin. Customers choose their charger, enter their installation requirements and receive the quote by email.

Car makes and models always up to date
The configurator is linked to a database that adds and updates car makes and models automatically. New models appear on their own, without anyone having to maintain a list.

Order directly through WooCommerce
Alongside the quote route, customers can also order a charger online straight away. WooCommerce handles that, so people who already know what they want don't have to go through a quote process first.
How does an enquiry reach the sales team?

Straight into TribeCRM, through an integration with its API. Every quote request and order arrives as a lead with the full configuration attached, so there's no retyping and no enquiries left sitting in a mailbox.
How did the design come about?
Through research up front. Before design started, we mapped the target audience, analysed the market and talked to stakeholders within the company.

That produced a project brief that guided the design choices: which information is needed when, where visitors drop off and at what point the configurator should appear. Hotjar and Google Tag Manager make that behaviour measurable after launch.
What can Laadpunt Nederland do now?
A decision process that runs itself
Customers configure their own charging point and get a quote straight away, with no extra step.
Leads that arrive complete
The CRM integration delivers every enquiry to sales, configuration and all.
Campaigns that can be steered
The path from visitor to enquiry is measurable, so marketing efforts can be adjusted.

Your message goes straight to our team in Amsterdam.Who made the Laadpunt Nederland website?
Your Tech Club. We did the UI/UX design, built the website and the charger configurator as a bespoke WordPress plugin, and handled the integrations with WooCommerce and TribeCRM. A specialist marketing agency worked on the campaign side.
What did Your Tech Club build for Laadpunt Nederland?
A website with an EV charger configurator, a database that updates car makes and models automatically, an ordering process in WooCommerce and an integration that puts every enquiry into TribeCRM as a lead.
What technology does the Laadpunt Nederland website run on?
WordPress with PHP, with WooCommerce for ordering and a bespoke plugin for the configurator. The TribeCRM integration runs through its API, and Hotjar and Google Tag Manager handle the measurement.
What is a product configurator and when do you need one?
A tool that lets customers build their product step by step and see the result straight away. It pays off for products with lots of variants and installation options, such as EV chargers: without a configurator, that decision work shifts to phone calls with the sales team.
Can you combine WooCommerce with a quote process?
Yes, and that's the setup here. Customers who know exactly what they want order directly through WooCommerce. Those unsure about the model or installation go through the configurator and receive a quote by email. Both routes end up in the same CRM.
How do you keep a database of car makes and models up to date?
By linking it to an external source that automatically supplies new makes and models and updates existing ones. Keeping it up to date by hand always falls behind in a market that moves this fast.
