Profile
How much revenue did we make this quarter with our biggest customers? Which projects are over budget? The answer is in your systems, but whoever wants to know has to wait for someone who can build a report.
Hiring a data analyst is a big step for many organisations, and the dashboard you have never quite answers today's question.
The Data Analyst answers questions in plain language from your own sources, such as your ERP, your CRM or Power BI. It shows how it reached the answer and flags anomalies that stand out.
What it does, step by step
- Receive the questionIn Teams or a chat, in plain language: which customer, which period, which product.
- Translate the question into dataWhich source, which table and which definition belong to this question.
- CalculateUsing the definitions you have agreed, so the answer matches your reports.
- Answer with the workingsThe figure, the source and the calculation, so anyone can check it.
- Flag anomaliesFigures outside the expected range, without waiting for someone to ask.
Onboarded into your business
Jesse does not start from a generic script. Like any new colleague, Jesse is onboarded into the way your team works first.
- Your knowledgeWe onboard Jesse with your own documents, examples and agreements, so the work is done the way your team does it.
- Your systemsWe set up the integrations for the software you already use. Different fields or different steps? We adapt to them.
- Your rulesYou decide what Jesse handles on its own and what always goes to a person first.
- Grows with youWhen your way of working, a system or a rule changes, we adjust Jesse to match.

What runs automatically and what does not
You stay in control.
Not every decision should be made automatically. For each workflow, we set out:
- What can happen automatically.
- What is put forward for approval first.
- When a person is brought in.
- What information is stored.
- How actions are logged.
Is this a fit for your organisation?
A good fit if
- Directors and managers with lots of one-off questions about the figures.
- Organisations with data in several systems and no analyst of their own.
- Businesses using Power BI whose dashboards do not answer today's question.
Less of a fit if
- Organisations whose source data is wrong: then the answer is wrong too.
- Drawing strategic conclusions from the figures: that stays with management.
What it can deliver
- An answer about your figures without waiting for a report.
- Answers you can check, because the calculation comes with them.
- Anomalies spotted before the monthly report is out.
Directions, not promises. As soon as there is evidence from a client project, it will appear here as a substantiated result.
Frequently asked questions
Can you use AI for data analysis on your own business data?
Yes, if the AI has access to your sources and knows how you calculate your figures. It then answers questions in plain language, with the source and calculation attached. Without agreed definitions, you get quick answers that do not match your own reports.
Is this an AI dashboard?
Not exactly. A dashboard shows figures chosen in advance. The Data Analyst answers the question you have now, even if there is no chart for it. If you use Power BI, it uses the datasets and definitions already there.
How do I know the answer is right?
Because it shows which source the answer comes from and how it was calculated. If a question can be read more than one way, it asks which you mean. A misread question produces a figure that is correct, but not for what you wanted to know.
Can it spot anomalies in the figures by itself?
Yes, on the figures and thresholds you set, such as margin per project or outstanding items per customer. It flags what falls outside expectations. What the cause is and what you do about it stays with you.
How is this different from the Report Builder?
The Report Builder produces the fixed monthly report in a fixed format. The Data Analyst answers the one-off questions in between. They use the same definitions, so an answer never says something different from the report.
Who can ask about which figures?
The same people who may see those figures today. Permissions follow those in your source systems, so a question about salaries only gets an answer for someone with access to them.
