Every month, pulling the same figures from the same four systems and putting them in the same format.

It is work nobody enjoys, it is the same every time, and errors still creep in because it is done by hand.

The Report Builder fetches the figures, calculates them the same way as last month and puts them in the format you already use.

What it does, step by step

  1. Fetch the figuresFrom the source systems, on the reference date you have agreed.
  2. Calculate consistentlyUsing the same definitions as the previous period, so figures stay comparable.
  3. CompareAgainst the previous period, last year and the budget.
  4. Point out changesWhat has changed significantly, factually and without interpretation.
  5. PrepareIn the existing format, ready for the review meeting.

What runs automatically and what does not

You stay in control.

Not every decision should be made automatically. For each workflow, we set out:

  • What can happen automatically.
  • What is put forward for approval first.
  • When a person is brought in.
  • What information is stored.
  • How actions are logged.

Is this a fit for your organisation?

A good fit if

  • Organisations with a fixed reporting cycle.
  • Companies where figures come from several systems.
  • Situations where compiling takes more time than discussing.

Less of a fit if

  • Interpreting the figures and deciding on actions.
  • Organisations without agreed definitions: then you report something different every month.

What it can deliver

  • Reports that are ready on the agreed day.
  • Figures calculated the same way every period.
  • More time for discussion and less for preparation.

Directions, not promises. As soon as there is evidence from a client project, it will appear here as a substantiated result.

Frequently asked questions

Can an AI employee produce our monthly report?

The compiling, yes: fetching, calculating, comparing and putting it in your format. The interpretation and the conclusions stay with management, because they need knowledge of what happened that month.

How does it know how our KPIs should be calculated?

From the definitions we set out during the setup. That is often the most useful part of such a project: it regularly turns out that two departments were calculating the same KPI differently.

What if a source system temporarily delivers no data?

Then it reports that the figure is missing instead of reporting a zero. A gap in a report is annoying; a zero read as a fact is dangerous.

Can it also flag deviations between reports?

Yes, and that is usually more valuable than the monthly report itself. If a figure is already outside its range halfway through the month, you want to know then, not on the third of the following month.

How to put this to work

  1. 1A short callTogether we look at your process and your systems, and whether this task is the best place to start.
  2. 2Set up on your rulesIntegrations with your own systems, and agreeing what may run automatically and what a person approves.
  3. 3Measure and adjustFirst alongside your team, only then on its own. We look at what it delivers and adjust.
