Music discovery label dashboard for VIRPP
For VIRPP, we built a label dashboard where labels search demos with intent, with filters for genre and location and a direct link to the artist platform.

VIRPP brings artists and record labels together. Artists put their music on the VIRPP platform, and labels search it for new talent. For that second side, Your Tech Club built the label dashboard.
What needed to improve?

Demos reach a label as a stream you work through from top to bottom. Working like that means judging by order of arrival rather than by what suits the label, and good material sinks to the bottom. The bottleneck isn't the amount of talent, but finding it.
Searching instead of working through a pile

A label usually knows what it's looking for: a genre, a region, a stage in someone's career. So the dashboard is built around searching and filtering, not an inbox. A label sees only what fits its direction and works from there.
What did we build?

A dashboard where labels search the catalogue on the VIRPP platform and filter it by genre, location and age, among other things. AI-driven search features strengthen that matching. Whatever an artist uploads appears in the dashboard straight away. Both sides run on the same data, so there's no separate submission.

One dashboard for multiple labels
The dashboard is multi-tenant: each label works in its own environment on the same system. Adding a new label is a matter of configuration, not more development.

The technology
A Vue.js front end on a Laravel back end, hosted on AWS. The design was developed in Figma and captured in a design system, so new features are added in the same form.

What has it achieved?
Several labels have discovered and signed new talent through the dashboard. The platform was developed in collaboration with VIRPP's international partners, such as Nicky Romero, Amsterdam Dance Event and Steve Aoki. The dashboard is part of VIRPP's wider music platform, which Your Tech Club also designed and built.

Your message goes straight to our team in Amsterdam.Who made VIRPP's label dashboard?
Your Tech Club. We did the UI/UX design and the design system, and built the dashboard's front end and back end.
What did Your Tech Club build for VIRPP?
A dashboard where record labels search the catalogue of demos with intent, with filters for genre, location and age, and a direct link to the VIRPP artist platform.
What technology does VIRPP's label dashboard run on?
A Vue.js front end with a Laravel and PHP back end, hosted on AWS. The design was developed in Figma and captured in a design system.
Can several labels use the dashboard at the same time?
Yes. The dashboard is multi-tenant: each label works in its own environment on the same system. Adding a new label takes configuration, not new development.
How does a label filter on this dashboard?
By criteria such as genre, location and age, plus AI-driven search features that match demos to the label's direction. So you work with intent instead of going through an inbox in date order.
How does the dashboard relate to the artist platform?
They're directly linked. Whatever an artist uploads to the VIRPP platform becomes available in the label dashboard, so no separate submission is needed.
Do real labels use it?
Yes. The platform was developed in collaboration with VIRPP partners such as Nicky Romero, Amsterdam Dance Event and Steve Aoki, and several labels have signed talent through it.
