Senior Shopify Developer

What you'll do

You're responsible for the technical side of complex Shopify projects. You work with design, back end and project management on online stores that need to be fast, sell well and work with the systems behind them.

• You build and maintain custom themes with Liquid, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• You design and build integrations with ERP, payment systems and inventory management.
• You make sure an online store stays fast, even when it's busy.
• You build custom functionality, such as dynamic filters, advanced search and personalised content.
• You decide the technical approach so a project stays scalable.
• You safeguard code quality with reviews, automated tests and continuous integration.

What you bring

• At least 5 years of experience as a Shopify developer, preferably on larger projects.
• Experience with custom themes and Liquid.
• Good knowledge of the Shopify API, via REST and GraphQL.
• Experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Experience integrating Shopify with external systems, such as ERP, CRM and payment systems.
• Knowledge of ecommerce: conversion and performance.
• Fluent English. Dutch is a plus.

Nice to have

• Back-end experience with Node.js or Ruby on Rails.
• Experience with Vue.js or React.
